There are a total of three sculptures all within about a 4 block radius from each other was created by Brad Oldham. Walking man trio charts the emergence of a giant robot born of a locomotive and spilled gin. The figures were built of polished metal sheets held together with rivets, which was meant to evoke the railway history of the neighborhood of Deep Ellum. Traveling man is located on the boarder of Deep Ellum.

Not many good parking spots near the traveling man. I suggest park where you can and walk to see the others. They are located along a busy street with a congested intersection so be careful crossing the street. The first and last sculptures are on the same side of the road. The second sculpture is at the intersection on the opposite side of the road.
