Quail Lake in St George, Utah is popular small lake. There is a fee if you enter at the main entrance. The locals have a separate entrance right down the street where there is no fee. This was where I parked. You need to walk through a bit of sand since the water has receded. The water is clear and welcoming. The lake has motor boats so if you kayak or padded board be careful. Quail Lake is a friendly laid back place to spend sometime and cool off. There is also a hiking trail wrapping part way around the lake. I did not do this trail.
