As some of you know I will be doing a vanbuild. On Tuesday 6/14/22 I will be flying out to SD to go pick it up and register it before bringing it back to Utah where it will be built out. Right now I am finalizing some of my build.

Here are some things I have decided.

1. I have decided to go with a dry flush toilet over a composting toilet or disc toilet.

WHAT IS THE DRY FLUSH TOILET?

A truly self contained, battery powered, portable toilet perfect for your RV, camping trip, sprinter, boat, cabin, or tiny house.

The Dry Flush is a waterless and chemical free dry flush toilet that uses self sealing bags to enclose waste from each flush. This prevents mess and smell and makes this unit perfect for almost any situation where a portable toilet is desired.

The Dry Flush is truly portable. The Dry Flush can be placed on any level surface indoors or out. Nothing needs to stay plugged in, vented, and mounting is optional.

2. I am planning to go with a indoor wetbath. There is a bit of a debate as to if I want a wet bath or one which is a bench normally and I convert to a shower by setting up the curtain. The pros for the second option is it would give me a bit more space and con being the setu/break down depending on how much I will use it. How much I will use it is really the big unknown question. I have to have this decided by 6/20.

3. I will have a one burner Induction stove which will not be mounted in the counter. It will be stored in a drawer as multiple review talk about how they crack easily when installed in a counter top.

4. I am planning for my kitchen sink to be normal size with a spray faucet. This will allow me to spray off before entering the van if needed.

5. I am adding a window in my sliding door and on the opposite side to allow for more light. My sit/stand work station will be behind my driver seat so no matter how I am using the desk space I can see outside.

6. I am getting a stand up fridge freezer option over one which goes side by side. It was also important to me to have a freezer

7. My water tank is a 20 gallon tank over a 30 gallon tank. Several people said 20 is plenty and if I want a bit extra I can do one of those 10 gallon jugs.

My Wish List

1. I am planning to do a skylight over my bed instead of adding windows back there. I can always add a window if I need it at a later time. The skylight will be confirmed after 6/20

2. I am looking into having cabinets with no handles. I would like the push release doors. More to come on this.

3. A oven is a wish but not sure how to do this one yet. I will not have a microwave.

To Do

1. Find the internet solution for me. I am thinking of doing an antenna /router or boost. I am still really searching on this one.

2. Need to get a safe (not as important as the other items)

3. Need to decide on indoor color for van. I would like it really light but want to be able to keep it clean.
